When I started SproutBox, I wasn’t trying to build a business.
There was no grand plan, no roadmap, no strategy deck. It wasn’t a pitch or a product launch. It was simply a small, creative idea - something I made during a chaotic season of motherhood, because I wanted play to feel easier, calmer, and more meaningful for my own children.
I never imagined it would grow into this.
What began as a handful of homemade activities spread out on my dining table has grown into a brand that now sits inside homes across Riyadh. A box children recognise. A moment families look forward to. A small pause in busy weeks that invites connection, creativity, and curiosity.
In 2025, something shifted.
SproutBox stopped being “a nice idea” and started becoming something families genuinely trust. Parents began telling us how SproutBox helped them feel less overwhelmed. Children opened boxes with excitement and confidence. Caregivers - parents, grandparents, nannies - all felt able to step into play without pressure or preparation.
And then came a moment that still feels surreal: receiving the Inc. Arabia Best in Business Award for EdTech.
Not because awards are the goal - they’re not - but because it felt like quiet validation. A reminder that thoughtful ideas, built slowly and intentionally, matter. That something created from lived experience, empathy, and care can grow further than you ever expect.
🌱 What 2025 Taught Us
This year has been about listening.
Listening to parents who want less noise, not more. Listening to families who want learning without pressure. Listening to children who thrive when play is open-ended, tactile, and screen-free.
It’s taught us that growth doesn’t have to mean complexity. That “doing more” isn’t always better. And that the most powerful products are often the ones that remove friction from everyday life.
SproutBox in 2025 became clearer in its purpose:
To support early childhood development in a way that feels human, not performative
To respect parents’ mental load
To make meaningful play feel doable - even on tired days
🌱 The Vision for 2026
As we step into 2026, SproutBox is evolving.
We’re no longer just a creative project. We’re building a full early-childhood ecosystem - one that supports families across ages, environments, and stages of development.
In 2026, we’re going to:
Expand our product lines for babies, toddlers, and children in the early school years - meeting families where they are, not where they “should” be
Grow TravelSprouts and seasonal collections, offering calm, engaging play for families on the move and during key moments of the year
Partner with more nurseries, schools, clinics, and hospitality brands to bring thoughtful play into shared family spaces
Build simple digital tools that support busy parents with guided independence, research-backed ideas, and gentle structure
Explore GCC expansion, bringing SproutBox to more families across the region
Continue championing meaningful, screen-free, low-prep play that feels accessible, not aspirational
Everything we build will stay grounded in the same belief we started with: play doesn’t need to be loud, complicated, or perfectly planned to be powerful.
Thank you for trusting us with your children’s time.Thank you for opening our boxes in your homes.Thank you for believing in something small that somehow grew legs, heart, and a whole lot of purpose.
We’re growing curious minds - one playful moment at a time.
And truly, we’re only getting started.
Happy New Year. 🌱
